Who We Are

Medical Digital Developers LLC was founded by Michael Chandler MD and Philip Goetz, with the intent of developing a sophisticated - yet easy to use - media management system designed by clinicians for clinicians. The system was designed with 3 main goals; enhance and simplify the processes of a practice, increase productivity and improve the quality of patient care.

With these goals in mind, MDDev assembled a team of technical experts, drawn from diverse industries, to develop a unique and highly configurable system unlike anything on the market.



About the MDDev Team

Dr. Michael Chandler, Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Michael Chandler is a native of Michigan and completed his medical studies at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He trained in internal medicine and allergy-immunology at Northwestern University Medical Center in Chicago. He has been in practice in New York City since 1986. Dr. Chandler sees a wide variety of allergic problems including drug allergies, food allergies and anaphylactic reactions. The main focus of his practice is the diagnosis and medical management of chronic sinusitis and asthma.

Dr. Chandler has been included in New York magazine's "Best Doctors List" several years in a row and has appeared in the Castle Connolly publication, America's Best Doctors. Dr. Chandler holds a faculty appointment at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.


Philip Goetz, President

Philip Goetz is a native of Ohio with a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design that included studies in Film, Video and Electronic Music. Goetz brings to the company proven expertise in advanced systems and technology. As VP, Network Technology at Merrill Lynch, he helped to implement their first PC/Mainframe "Data Highway," and subsequently designed and implemented a global network-monitoring infrastructure.


In addition, he has worked extensively in media development as EVP of Systems and Technology for THINK New Ideas, a media design group. At THINK, he directed technology projects for Avon, Oracle, BudLite, Bloomingdales, and others. Additional executive management positions include VP of Systems and Technology for Radio City Productions, Creative Director for Marvel, Inc.'s marvel.com and contract consulting for Verizon's Intranet.


Jason Band, Director of Technical Sales

Jason Band has a degree in Finance from the Lubin School of Business. He spent the beginning of his career developing and manufacturing optical components for filming microsurgery.  Through this experience Jason worked closely with medical camera manufacturers and developed an advanced knowledge of analog and digital camera technologies, as well as practical experience configuring and implementing recording systems in the operating rooms of large institutions.

He has significant hands on experience recording ophthalmic and neurosurgery with premiere surgeons at some of the top medical institutions in the country.
