The D-Scope^® Workstation system provides everything needed to capture and archive medical media using a reliable, high performance, turn-key system. The system includes; a powerful medical grade PC with fault tolerant media storage, a medical grade power supply, surge protector, 19 inch medical grade LCD monitor, washable USB keyboard /mouse, voice control microphone, footswitch, photo printer, and a durable video cart designed to stand up to high usage in a medical environment.

The system offers the option to capture compressed or uncompressed video. This feature permits the physician to review recorded media with the highest possible video quality. In this review process, the system can then extract still images captured in the highest quality format. Captured media selected for permanent archival, including images, entire video clips, or multiple sub-clips can be saved using a variety of compression formats including Windows Media (PowerPoint^®), H.264 (MPEG4), MPEG2 (DVD) as well as in uncompressed AVI format.

The D-Scope^® export utility allows video clips and sub-clips that are saved in any selected format to be easily exported to external sources (USB storage, CD/DVD, or Email) in alternative formats (i.e. media captured and saved as H.264(MPEG4) could be exported in Windows Media or MPEG2 format as required
